From Nov 13, 2019, you can use PayPal to subscribe niconico paid channels.
With PayPal, you can make payments using a variety of methods including:bank accounts, debit cards.
That means you have more options than before and now we accept payment from overseas.
Starting now, viewers from outside of Japan can subscribe to niconico paid channels
easily and safely to enjoy the quality content!

The "Region setting" feature will be removed on March 19, 2019, but the "Language setting" feature will be still available.
 *There is no change in language selection (English, Traditional Chinese)
"Region setting" feature is only for users outside Japan.

Changes:
- Original design of overseas version will be no longer available.
- The design will become the same as Japanese version.
- Region ranking will be no longer available.
- You can use Global Ranking If you would like to.
- Lately added translated video list will be no longer available.

Please use other video lists such as lately arrived videos, lately commented videos or recommended videos.

A DDoS attack has occurred on November 2, around 9pm (JST) preventing users from accessing niconico services. 

In order to resolve this issue, select connections outside Japan have been temporarily disconnected,
but please note that the restrictions are already removed, access has been restored.
We are very sorry for the late notice.
Please note that should another network issue occur, connections may again be disconnected without a notice.

-Even if you are using from within Japan, you can not use niconico in the same way for communication that goes outside Japan.

-Some services and applications may be available as usual even for signal from the relevant area.

-Signal blocking function may be changed without notice.
