Greetings Niconico users (and 3D modelers!),
The newest part of our site--Niconi Solid (aka "Niconi Rittai")--launched earlier this month on May 2, but since the release was rather low key and fans of the English site were kept in the dark, I felt it was time to shed some light.
■What is Niconi Solid?
Niconi Solid is essentially a service that provides a space for 3D modelers to congregate, and is a means for them to post important updates and communicate with one another. Although a surge of user traffic upon release of the site reduced loading times to a crawl, recent maintenance has alleviated this as of this writing.

Future plans for the site include support for motion data uploads and a host of other new features.
*There are currently no plans for an English language version of the site, but it could happen if demand is strong enough!
